What is International Women’s Day?
International Women’s Day is a global movement to press forward and progress gender parity. A strong call to motivate and unite friends, colleagues and whole communities to think, act, and be gender inclusive.
Spokane’s 2018 celebration will focus on the power of letting our voices be heard. Featuring powerful workshops, a resource fair, and keynote speaker Sandra Williams, accomplished activist and creator of ‘The Black Lens News’.
This is an opportunity to not only let your voice be heard, but also to be able to be around so many other powerful and progressive like-minded others, where we can feel comfort in knowing that we are moving forward and celebrate together in the progress we have made.

WHAT: Keynote “Hearing The Unheard Stories” by accomplished activist and founder of The Black Lens News, Sandy Williams.
Also featuring resource tabling, a cultural Display and presentation from Ingrid Sub Cuc, Meditation with Sravasti Abbey Buddhist Nuns, and three powerful workshops from Nia Dancers, Kate Burke and Bethany Montgomery, and Wendy Levy.
