Who will care for us? Visit to Rep. McMorris Rodgers
Who will care for us? Visit to Rep. McMorris Rodgers
Join clients, caregivers, and health care consumers to visit Rep. McMorris Rodgers’ district office to ask: “What’s the plan if I lose my care? Please reconsider your support.”
The dangerous health care bill would cut off millions of elderly and disabled Americans from Medicaid — reducing their ability to pay for home care and health care. The bill would also end health insurance for millions. What’s more, the plan redistributes these funds away from working families, seniors and people with disabilites to line the pockets of billionaires. This is unacceptable. We must continue to put pressure on our representitives.
Today, 1.9 million Washingtonians rely on Medicaid for access to health-care services. More than 81,000 Washingtonians receive long-term care. Over 750,000 people in Washington rely on the Affordable Care Act for insurance.
Stand united with members from our community to call on Rep. McMorris Rodgers to do the right thing; oppose the American Health Care Act, which threatens to take away home care and nursing-home care, and would end health insurance for millions.
